When I had big occasions as a child, my grandparents, who still lived in Bethel, brought a Bethel Bakery cake every time. My Pap even acted surprised when he realized the South actually HAD bakeries. For me, however, there is only one bakery that mattered: Bethel. I was able to introduce my own children to Bethel Bakery as they grew up. We ended up choosing the lemon cake with European Raspberry and mango fillings because they were delicious and our favorite.
